The course of plasma therapy
The blood plasma is obtained in the collection of 8-20 ml of blood. The plasma has to contain maximum active blood platelets in order to effectuate the recovery of cells and collagen biostimulation. This is achieved by processing the plasma using the Swiss RegenPlasma technology.
Blood is collected into a special test tube and afterwards proprietary plasma gel is added, which causes up to 90% of platelets to remain active (classic plasma therapy achieves only a 40% success rate). The blood is then centrifuged.
Finally, we apply the clean plasma through tiny needles under the skin or add hyaluronic acid to it and then apply it under the skin.
How long does the plasmalifting take?
The length of the procedure depends on the size of the treated surface; it usually takes around 45 minutes, however it is not a procedure suitable for a lunch break.
How often is it necessary to repeat the plasma therapy procedure?
We recommend to undergo 3 procedures with a 4 week interval. The result is visible already after the first procedure, it becomes more noticeable with each treatment and can last up to two years.
Recovery after plasmalifting
Minor bruises and transient redness at the injection site may occur. You can go to work on the second day after the procedure. Transient redness and bruises can be covered by make-up. You should avoid direct sunlight for a week after undergoing plasmalifting.
In what situations can we not perform plasma therapy?
- if you suffer from blood clotting disorder
- if you use anticoagulants (Warfarin)
- if you suffer from an inflammation at the injection site
PLASMA THERAPY NEWLY AT ESTHÉ
